The Zlib package contains compression and decompression routines used by some programs.

7.4.1. Installation of Zlib

Prepare Zlib for compilation: 

CC="${CC} ${BUILD64}" \
   ./configure --prefix=/tools --shared --libdir=/tools/lib64

Compile the package: 

make

Install the package: 

make install
